Sharon Renae Photography: What Photography Means to Me

I first picked up a camera when I was in high school and instantly fell in love with photography. It was a way for me to capture the world around me and tell stories through my images. Over the years, my passion for photography has only grown stronger and it has become an essential part of my life.

For me, photography is about more than just taking pretty pictures. It’s about capturing moments and emotions that can be shared with others and treasured for a lifetime. It’s about freezing time, so that we can look back on our memories and relive them over and over again.

Photography is my way of connecting with the world around me. Through my lens, I see beauty in everyday life ufffd in the sunsets and the rainstorms, in the laughter and the tears. Photography allows me to share these moments with others, so that they can see the world through my eyes.

More than anything, photography is a way for me to express myself. It’s my art form, and it’s how I communicate what’s in my heart. When I’m behind the camera, I feel like I am finally able to be myself ufffd there are no limits or boundaries, only endless possibilities.

So what does photography mean to me? In short, it means everything. It’s how I see the world, how I connect with others, and how I express myself. It’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and it will continue to be an essential part of who I am for years to come

Sharon Renae Photography: My Favorite Photography Subjects

I love all things related to photography, but if I had to narrow it down to my favorite subjects, they would definitely be people and animals. I love capturing special moments and expressions, whether it’s a baby’s first smile or a dog’s silly antics. There’s just something about freezing a moment in time that makes me feel incredibly lucky.

Heart of Grace Photography Instagram:

As a photographer, one of my favorite things is being able to capture the beauty and joy of people and animals. I love finding those perfect moments that represent the true essence of my subjects. Whether it’s a laughing baby or a playful pup, I strive to create images that will make people smile.

Sharon Renae Photography: My Favorite Photography Locations

There are so many wonderful places to take photographs, but these are some of my favorites! I love finding new and interesting places to shoot, but sometimes it’s nice to go back to the classics.

1. The Beach

There’s something about the beach that just screams summertime fun. The bright colors, the sound of the waves crashing against the shore… it’s all very relaxing and makes for some great photos. Plus, who doesn’t love a good sunset beach photo?

2. Urban Locations

I really enjoy taking photos in urban locations because there are so many interesting things to photograph. Graffiti walls, alleyways, architecture… there are endless possibilities. And if you’re lucky enough to catch a glimpse of city life, that can make for some great shots as well.

3. Nature Locations

Nature locations are always stunning, no matter what time of year it is. I especially love photographing in the fall when all the leaves are changing color. But really, any location with beautiful scenery makes for some amazing photos. Waterfalls, mountains, forests… they’re all worth exploring with your camera!

Sharon Renae Photography: My Favorite Photography Equipment

There are so many different types of photography equipment out there, and it can be hard to keep track of all the options. But when it comes to Sharon Renae Photography, we only use the best of the best! Here is a list of our favorite photography equipment:

1. Canon EOS 5D Mark III Camera: This is our go-to camera for all of our shoots. It takes amazing photos and videos, and we just canufffdt get enough of it!

2. Sigma 85mm f/1.4 Art Lens: This lens is perfect for portrait shots. The low aperture creates a beautiful blur effect that really makes your subjects pop!

3. Profoto B1 AirTTL Location Kit: This lighting kit is essential for on-location shoots. Itufffds portable and easy to set up, and it gives us the perfect light every time!

4. Westcott Rapid Box Octa Softbox: This softbox is great for diffusing light and creating a softer look in your photos. We love using it for portraits and close-up shots!

5. Spider Holster Single Camera System: This camera system is a lifesaver! It keeps our cameras safe and secure while weufffdre shooting, so we donufffdt have to worry about them getting damaged or lost.

Sharon Renae Photography: My Photography Goals

I love photography because it allows me to capture memories and moments that would otherwise be gone forever. My goal is to take beautiful, creative, and emotional photos that tell a story and make people feel something.

I strive to create an experience for my clients that is fun, relaxed, and stress-free so they can enjoy the process and end up with images they absolutely love.

Whether itufffds a family session, engagement session, or senior portraits, I want my clients to walk away not only with amazing photos but also with lasting memories of a great experience.

Sharon Renae Photography: Photography Tips for Beginners

As a professional photographer, I often get asked for photography tips from beginners. While there are many different ways to approach photography, there are a few basics that every beginner should know. Here are my top 10 photography tips for beginners:

1. Get to know your camera. This may seem like a no-brainer, but it’s important to understand all the features and functions of your camera before you start using it. Read the manual, experiment with all the buttons and dials, and find out what each setting does. The more familiar you are with your camera, the better your photos will be.

2. Don’t be afraid to use auto mode. Many beginner photographers think they need to shoot in manual mode all the time in order to get great photos. However, this isn’t necessarily true! Auto mode is perfectly fine to use, and can actually help you learn about exposure and other photography concepts. So if you’re feeling overwhelmed by all the settings on your camera, just switch it to auto mode and see how it goes.

3 . Use a tripod or selfie stick . A lot of beginning photographers think that they need fancy equipment in order to take great photos . However , one of the most important things you can invest in is a tripod or selfie stick . This will help keep your hands stead y while taking pictures , which is especially important when shooting in low light or at night .

4 Learn the rule of thirds One of the most basic composition rules is called ‘the rule of thirds’ . To apply this rule , simply imagine dividing your frame into nine equal parts with two horizontal lines and two vertical lines . The four points where these lines intersect are called power points . Now , when framing your shot , try to position your subject at one of these intersections . Doing so will create more interest and balance in your photo than if you simply centered your subject .

5 Shoot in RAW Whenever possible , set your camera t o shoot i n RAW format instead o f JPEG . RAW files are larger than JPEGs , but they contain much more information about yo ur image (think of them as digital negatives ) which gives you m uch m ore flexibility when editing later on down th e line 6 Use leading lines Leading lines ar e elements i n yo ur scene that draw th e viewer’s eye towards yo ur main subject matter 7 Experiment with shutter speed One way t o add intere sting effects t o yo ur photos is t o play around w ith different shutter speeds 8 Find interesting perspectives Rather than just shooting fr om eye level all th e time , try getting down low or up high fo r unique perspectives 9 Use natural light whenever possible Natural light is always going t o b e th e best option fo r taking photos 10 Edit y our photos Even th e best photographers make mistakes sometimes or don’t quite capture th e perfect shot That’s where editing comes in ! There ar e lots of great photo – editing software programs out there (Adobe Lightroom is my personal favorite) that can help you fix common problems , enhance colors an d contrast , crop unwanted elements from y our frame
